Earlyon Technologies Ltd recently celebrated 10 years of the deployment of its Earlyon Enterprise Fixed Asset Management solution for the University of Ilorin, one of the foremost and well-known universities in Nigeria.
Deployed on Microsoft Internet Information Server running on HP ProLiant Server, the Earlyon Enterprise Fixed Asset Management solution manages the complete fixed asset life-cycle from acquisition to inventory, location monitoring, reporting and eventual disposal for the entire over 20,000 fixed assets of the university valued at over N 10 billion. For a typical asset schedule as required by the National Universities Commission (NUC), the Fixed Asset Management solution generates over 550 pages of reporting seamlessly. For information and data integrity and accountability, the enterprise software solution incorporates features for activity audit trail, user access roles, unique user identifiers and password-based security. The Enterprise Fixed Asset Management solution also featured automated periodic disk-based backups with multiple snapshots for faster recovery in case of an disaster or system crash.
The software continues to serve the university as one of its longest running enterprise solution with high reporting requirements.
